About Me

Anna Bell is a college advice blogger and graduate student at Tarleton State University in Texas. She is currently working on a master’s in mental health counseling and holds a B.S. in psychology.

Hey everyone! My name is Anna Bell and if you are anything like me you find the whole college process to be extremely confusing. Well that’s ok, I am here to help! I wish I’d had resources to help me navigate through the ins and outs of college while I was still in high school, so I hope to be able to do that for you guys. As of right now, I hold a bachelor of science in psychology and am working on a master’s in mental health counseling (Plus I plan to get my Ph.D. in the future- you don’t have to get a master’s first though but I’m getting ahead of myself and I’ll explain that later). I remember being fresh-faced and having no idea what I needed to do when it came to college and I honestly feel that had I had a good resource to go to I could have saved myself a lot of time, money, and hassle in the process. So if you’re anything like I was and you want college advice then you came to the right place!

What will we be discussing?

We will talk about things that I wish I’d known as a college student, like how to pick a major, how to get started signing up for classes, and the various types of classes available. We’ll discuss pretty much anything relevant to incoming/prospective and current college students. If there are any topics you are curious about but you don’t see a blog post available, feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of any of the blog pages and I’ll happily write one up for you!
