I’ve decided I want to go to college. Now what? College Advice Blog
The thought of going to college can be extremely overwhelming. Where do you start? What school should you go to? What should you study while you’re there? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS! It’s OK, I’m here to help!
Starting college can feel like a rocky time. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by all of the different aspects of college. I know that when I was first entered college I had so many questions, and I felt a bit dumb for not already knowing the answers. Looking back, I realize why I had so many unanswered questions- I did not have a resource with basic college information readily available to me, all in one place. This meant that when I looked on college websites a lot of the words looked foreign to me! I had never heard most of them and they were important things I needed to know. If that sounds anything like you or you are just trying to get as much advice as you can before taking the plunge, you’re in the right place!
And if you ever have a question and don’t see a blog post about it, just leave me a comment and I will happily create one!
Some of the topics we will be discussing:
- Things I wish I’d known as a new college student
- Paying off student loans: What happens when college is overpriced and your future career is underpaid?
- What’s the difference between undergrad and graduate school?
- I got into college, now how do I pay for it? Scholarships, loans, and grants
